Governor Tommy Thompson

Our current production is a one-hour documentary for Milwaukee PBS about the life of public service of former Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson.
Thompson served for 20 years in the state legislature, 14 years as Governor, and four years as Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Bush. Both welfare reform and school choice began in Wisconsin during his tenure; both innovative programs would later be copied nationwide.
